2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy describes how BusyWorks collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with:

  • The BusyWorks website, funnel, and marketing pages.

  • BusyWorks Pro, a $59 recurring monthly subscription.

  • The Solopreneur Survival Guide, a $9 one-time-purchase digital product.

  • Emails sent to info@busyworks.us.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Name, email address, and business information entered when creating an account, purchasing a product, requesting service, or contacting BusyWorks.

  • Payment and billing information required to complete a purchase or subscription. This information is submitted to and processed by Stripe, as described in Section 5. BusyWorks does not represent that it directly receives or stores full payment-card details.

  • Content submitted so BusyWorks can create or configure requested social-media and booking assets.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard log data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps.

  • Cookies and similar technologies used by BusyWorks and necessary third-party providers to operate the Service.

4. How we use information

BusyWorks uses information to:

  • Provide, operate, and support BusyWorks products and services.

  • Process purchases and subscription payments through Stripe.

  • Communicate about accounts, purchases, billing, service delivery, and support requests.

  • Create or configure requested social-media and booking assets.

  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.

  • Improve BusyWorks products and services.

  • Send service messages and, where permitted, marketing messages that recipients can unsubscribe from at any time.

5. How we disclose information

BusyWorks does not sell personal information or distribute bulk customer information.

BusyWorks discloses information only as necessary for payment, communication, service delivery, and creation or configuration of requested social-media and booking assets. Necessary providers process only the information required for those purposes. These providers include:

  • Stripe, BusyWorks' payment processor and payment facilitator. Stripe receives and processes payment and billing information required to complete a purchase or subscription under the Stripe Privacy Policy. BusyWorks does not represent that it directly receives or stores full payment-card details.

  • Systeme.io, BusyWorks' funnel and email provider, which supports marketing pages, checkout, and customer email communication.

  • A booking provider, used for booking flows requested by customers.

  • The applicable profile platforms—Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor—where BusyWorks creates or configures requested assets.

BusyWorks may also disclose information:

  • When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BusyWorks, customers, or others.

  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Necessary operational disclosure to service providers as described in this section is not a sale of personal information.

6. Data retention

BusyWorks retains information while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, tax, security, and dispute-resolution obligations. Retention may vary according to the type of information and applicable requirements.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You may email info@busyworks.us to request access to personal information BusyWorks holds about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of an account and associated personal information subject to legal and record-keeping obligations, or removal from marketing emails.

Depending on applicable law, residents of states including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or certain uses of personal information. BusyWorks will honor legally non-waivable privacy rights that apply to a verified request. BusyWorks does not discriminate against a customer for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Requests may be sent at any time. BusyWorks does not promise an immediate human response.

8. Security

BusyWorks takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information it handles. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and BusyWorks does not claim any specific security certification. Payment-card data is handled by Stripe under its own security program; see the Stripe Privacy Policy.

9. Children

BusyWorks products are intended for adults operating solopreneur or micro business activities. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use BusyWorks products. BusyWorks does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Geographic scope

BusyWorks serves customers located in the United States only and does not target its products to individuals outside the United States. If you are outside the United States, do not submit personal information to BusyWorks.

11. Availability

BusyWorks online services and email intake may be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. BusyWorks does not promise an immediate human response or uninterrupted platform availability.

12. Changes to this policy

BusyWorks may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated Effective Date.
